It’s about damn time we fired up the NES for a classic playthrough!

I closed my eyes and randomly pointed to a game in the pile, and Super Mario Bros is what we got. Doesn’t get much more old school than that. Yo Bowser, I’m comin’ for ya!

  1. Honestly Nintendo does go crazy with the New Super Mario games. Wasn’t even a big fan of the original DS one. It was fun but honestly it felt bland compared to how awesome and refreshing the Galaxy games were. Mario Maker is a really good idea as I’ve played some fun original levels created by other people. IMO I’ll stop playing Mario games when Nintendo makes bad Mario games. You look at something like Call of Duty, Sonic, Final Fantasy which are long running franchises but every new entry sucks harder than the last one. You can’t say the same thing for Mario.

    1. I use the standard-def Dazzle DVD recorder and Pinnacle Studio to import the old school gameplay while running the RF switch box from the console to an old CRT TV to avoid the micro-delay you get with playing off an HDTV. I edit and render with Vegas. Thx Bro!
